I started my accounting career in 2002 after graduating from the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. During my 18-year accounting career, I have advanced as a leader in my profession, specializing in government accounting, and real estate accounting. I enjoy mentoring either young women who aspire to one day become CPAs.
What motivated me?
My community is what has motivated me, traditionally most CPA firms do not make to businesses in my community.
My mission and main purpose is to ensure entrepreneurs are financially educated and supported. I also understand the struggles of entrepreneurs because I too am a small business owner.
List your awards, certifications, and
accomplishments.
I ensure that I am current with all accounting rules and regulations through required continuing education. I am a member of the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants (LCPA). I am also big on community service. I am currently a member of LCPA's financial literacy committee, and serve on the board of a non-profit, and volunteers and mentors through various programs. I also serve as a Lady Ambassador for The Lady CPA Network, a Non-Profit organization formed to increase the number of African American women in the accounting profession.

What are you passionate about?
I love real estate investing. Not only am I a CPA but I actively purchase, rehab and sale homes. "I flip houses what can I say" I love what I do. Which is why I am passionate about assisting other real estate professionals, developers, and property management companies ensure they are financially sound, compliant and most of all profitable. ​​
